LM1141

The LM1141 is a kind of dolby B-C type noise reduction processor. It is a monolithic integrated circuit specially designed to realize both dolby B- and dolby C-type noise reduction systems. The circuit has a single input pin for encod and decode and includes all active components and switching internally to provide a single channel of a dolby B- or C-type system. Besides, it is ideal for use in automative and portable Hi-Fi as well as quality cassette or tape sound systems for the low power consumption and compact package.

There are some features of LM1141 as follows: (1)very low supply current (11.5 mA typ); (2)wide supply voltage range, 5 to 16 V; (3)alternative dolby levels, 245 mV or 580 mV; (4)provision for MPX filter; (5)very high signal to noise radio, 66 dB typ for encode, C mode CCIR/ARM; (6)50 mV encode input sensitivity (30 mV decode); (7)DC-controlled mode switching; (8)minimal switching transients; (9)28 pin DIP or QUAD packages available.
