Description

The LM1514 is a kind of dual differential voltage comparator. The device is designed for applications requiring high accuracy and fast response times. The device is constructed on a single monolithic silicon chip. The device is useful as a variable threshold Schmitt trigger, a pulse discriminator, a voltage comparator in high-speed A/D converters, a memory sense amplifier or a high noise immunity line receiver. The output of the comparator is compatible with all integrated logic forms. The device meets or exceeds the specifications of the MC1514. Besides, the device is available in the ceramic dual-in-line package. It is specified for operation over the -55 to +125 military temperature range.

There are some features of LM1514 as follows: (1)two totally seperate comparators per package; (2)independent strobe capability; (3)high speed: 30 ns typ; (4)low input offset voltage and current; (5)high output sink current over temperature; (6)output compatible with TTL/DTL logic; (7)ceramic dual-in-line package.

What comes next is the absolute maximum ratings of LM1514: (1)positive supply voltage: +14.0 V; (2)negative supply voltage: -7.0 V; (3±)peak output current: 10 mA; (4)differential input voltage: ±5.0 V; (5)input voltage: ±7.0 V; (6)power dissipation: 1000 mW; (7)operating temperature range: -55 to +125; (8)storage temperature range: -65 to +150; (9)lead temperature (soldering, 10 sec): 300.
