LM20145MH General Description


The LM20145MH is a full featured adjustable frequency synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 5A of continuous output current.The device is optimized to work over the input voltage range of 2.95V to 5.5V making it suited for a wide variety of low voltage systems. It is designed to work well in multi-rail power supply architectures.

The features of LM20145MH can be summarized as:(1)Input voltage range 2.95V to 5.5V; (2)Accurate current limit minimizes inductor size; (3)97% peak efficiency; (4)Adjustable switching frequency (250 kHz to 750 kHz); (5)32 m integrated FET switches; (6)Starts up into pre-biased loads; (7)Output voltage tracking; (8)Peak current mode control; (9)Adjustable output voltage down to 0.8V; (10)Adjustable Soft-Start with external capacitor; (11)Precision enable pin with hysteresis; (12)Integrated OVP, UVLO, power good and thermal shutdown; (13)eTSSOP-16 exposed pad package.

The absolute maximum ratings of LM20145MH are:(1)Voltages from the indicated pins to GND,AVIN, PVIN, EN, PGOOD, SS/TRK, COMP, FB, RT:-0.3V to +6V; (2)Storage Temperature:-65°C to 150°C; (3)Junction Temperature:150°C; (4)Power Dissipation:2.6W; (5)Lead Temperature (Soldering, 10 sec):260°C; (6)Minimum ESD Rating:±2kV; (7)PVIN, AVIN to GND:2.95V to 5.5V; (8)Junction Temperature:-40°C to + 125°C.
