LM50C

The LM50C is designed as the SOT-23 single-supply centigrade temperature sensor that can be used in (1)computers; (2)disk drives; (3)battery manage-ment; (4)automotive; (5)fax machines; (6)printers; (7)portable medical instruments; (8)HVAC; (9)power supply modules. It's linear output, +500 mV offset, and factory calibration simplify circuitry required in a single supply environment where reading negative temperatures is required.

Features of the LM50C are:(1)calibrated directly in degree celsius (centigrade); (2)linear + 10.0 mV/°C scale factor; (3)±2°C accuracy guaranteed at +25°C; (4)specified for full .40° to +125°C range; (5)suitable for remote applications; (6)low cost due to wafer-level trimming; (7)operates from 4.5V to 10V; (8)less than 130 A current drain; (9)low self-heating, less than 0.2°C in still air; (10)nonlinearity less than 0.8°C over temp.
