LT1271CT

The LT1271CT is one member of the LT1271 family which is designed as the 4A high efficiency switching regulator that can be used in (1)boost converter; (2)high efficiency buck converter; (3)PC power supply with multiple outputs; (4)battery up-converter; (5)negative-to-positive converter. This device operates with supply voltages from 3.5V to 30V, and draw only 7mA quiescent current, and the integration of all functions allows it to be built in a standard TO-220 power package.

Features of the LT1271CT are:(1)wide input voltage range 3.5V to 30V; (2)low quiescent current: 7mA; (3)internal 4A switch; (4)very few external parts required; (5)self protected against overloads; (6)shutdown mode draws only 100mA supply current; (7)flyback regulated mode has fully floating outputs; (8)comes in standard 5-pin package; (9)can be externally synchronized (see LT1072 data sheet).
