DescriptionThe LTC1702CGN is one member of the LTC1702 family which is designed as the dual 550kHz synchronous 2-phase switching regulator controller that can be used in (1)microprocessor core and I/O supplies; (2)multiple logic supply generator; (3)distributed power applications; (4)high efficiency power conversion. Also this device takes a low input voltage and generates two lower output voltages at very high currents.
Features of the LTC1702CGN are:(1)two independent controllers in one package; (2)two sides run out-of-phase to minimize CIN; (3)all N-channel external MOSFET architecture; (4)no external current sense resistor; (5)excellent output regulation: 1% total output accuracy; (6)550kHz switching frequency minimizes external component size; (7)1A to 25A output current per channel; (8)high efficiency over wide load current range; (9)quiescent current drops below 100mA in shutdown; (10)small 24-pin narrow SSOP package.
