General Description
M57962AL General Description
The M57962AL is one member of the hybrid integrated circuit which designed for driving N-channel IGBT modules in any gate-amplifier application. This device operates as an isolation amplifier for these modules and provides the required electrical isolation between the input and output with an opto coupler. This device can be used to drive IGBT modules for inverter or AC servo systems application.
Features of the M57962AL are:(1)electrical isolation between input and output with opto-coupler (Viso=2500 Vrms for 1 minutes);(2)two supply driver topol-ogy;(3)built-in short circuit protection circuit (with a pin for fault out);(4)TTL compatible input interface.
The absolute maximum ratings of the M57962AL can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage:18 or -15 V;(2)input voltage (applied between 13 pin to 14 pin):-1 to +7 V;(3)output voltage (when the output voltage is "H"):Vcc V;(4)isolation voltage:2500 Vrms;(5)case temperature:85;(6)operating temperature:-20 to +60;(7)storage temperature:-25 to +60;(8)fault output current"20 mA;(9)input voltage:50 V.
