MAX1232ESA

The MAX1232ESA is designed as one kind of microprocessor (uP) supervisory circuit device that provides uP "housekeeping" and power-supply supervision function while consuming only 1/10th the power of the DS1232. And this device can be used in computers, controllers, intrlligent instruments, automotive systems and critical uP power monitoring applications.

Features of the MAX1232ESA are:(1)consumes 1/10th the power of the DS1232;(2)precision voltage monitor - adjustable +4.5V or +4.75V;(3)power OK/RESET pulse width - 250 ms min;(4)no external components;(5)adjustable watchdog timer - 150 ms, 600 ms, or 1.2 sec;(6)debounced manual reset input for external overide;(7)available in 8-pin DIP / small outline and 16-pin wide small outline packages.

The absolute maximum ratings of the MAX1232ESA can be summarized as:(1)voltage on any pin (with respect to GND): -1V to +7V;(2)operating temperature range: -40 to +85 ;(3)storage temperature range: -65 to +160 ;(4)lead temperature (soldering, 10 sec.): +300 .
