MAX202CPE

The MAX202CPE is designed as one kind of +5V RS-232 transceiver device that is available in a 28-pin wide small-outline (SO) package, and a 28-pin shrink small-outline package (SSOP), which occupies only 40% of the area of the SO. And this device can be used in computers, laptops, palmtops, notebooks and battery-powered equipment and hand-held equipment applications.

Features of the MAX202CPE are:(1)0.1uF to 10uF exteral capacitors; (2)120 kbits / sec data rate; (3)2 receivers active in shutdown mode; (4)low-power shutdown current is 1 uA; (5)designed for RS-232 and V.28 applications; (6)three-state TTL / CMOS receiver outputs.
