MAX3799

The MAX3799 is designed as one kind of 1Gbps to 14Gbps, SFP+ multirate limiting amplifier and VCSEL driver device that can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)1000BASE-SR/10GBASE-SR multirate SFP+ optical transceiver; (2)1x/2x/4x/8x/16x SFF/SFP/SFP+ MSA Fibre Channel (FC) optical transceiver. Also this device is packaged in a lead-free, 5mm x 5mm, 32-pin TQFN package.

Features of the MAX3799 are:(1)26ps Rise and Fall Time at Rx/Tx Output; (2)Rate Select for 1Gbps Mode or 10Gbps Mode; (3)CML Output Squelch; (4)Polarity Select for Rx and Tx; (5)LOS Assert Level Adjustment; (6)LOS Polarity Select; (7)Modulation Current Up to 12mA Into 100 Differential Load; (8)Bias Current Up to 15mA; (9)Integrated Eye Safety Features; (10)3-Wire Digital Interface; (11)Programmable Deemphasis at Tx Output; (12)3mVP-P Receiver Sensitivity at 10.32Gbps; (13)4psP-P DJ at Receiver Output at 8.5Gbps 8B/10B.
