General Description
MAX4641EUA General Description
The MAX4641EUA is designed as monolithic, dual, single-pole/ single-throw (SPST) switches that can operate from a single supply ranging from +1.8V to +5.5V. Typical applications include battery-operated equipment, audio and video signal routing, low-voltage data-acquisition systems, sample-and-hold circuits and communications circuits.
It has nine features. (1)+1.8V to +5.5V single-supply operation. (2)Rail-to-rail analog signal range. (3)Guaranteed Ron 4 max at 5V supply and 8 max at 3V supply. (4)+1.8V operation Ron 30 typ over temperature and tON 18ns typ, tOFF 12ns typ. (5)Guaranteed Ron flatness: 1 (+5V supply). (6)Guaranteed Ron match between channels 0.6 (+5V supply). (7)Low leakage (<0.35nA) over entire temperature range. (8)Excellent AC characteristics low crosstalk: -97dB at 1MHz and high off-isolation: -80dB at 1MHz and 0.018% total harmonic distortion. (9)Low power consumption: < 0.01W. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its V+ would be frm -0.3V to +6V. (2)Its IN_, COM_, NO_, NC_ would be from -0.3V to V+ +0.3V. (3)Its continuous current (any terminal) would be +/-20mA. (4)Its continuous current (NO_, NC_, COM) would be +/-50mA. (5)Its peak current would be +/-100mA. (6)Its continuous power dissipation would be 362mW. (7)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (8)Its junction temperature would be +150°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (10)Its lead temperature (soldering, 10s) would be +300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its analog signal range would be from 0 to V+. (2)Its ON-resistance would be typ 2.5 and max 4.
