MAX8760ETL

The MAX8760ETL is one member of the MAX8760 family which is designed as the dual-phase, quick-pwm controller for AMD mobile turion 64 CPU core power supplies that can be used in (1)6-bit VID AMD mobile turion 64 CPU; (2)multiphase CPU core supply; (3)voltage-positioned step-down converters; (4)servers/desktop computers. This device includes output undervoltage protection, thermal protection, and voltage regulator power-OK (VROK) output. When any of these protection features detect a fault, the controller shuts down.

Features of the MAX8760ETL are:(1)dual-phase, quick-PWM controller; (2)+/-0.75% VOUT accuracy over line, load, and temperature (1.3V); (3)active voltage positioning with adjustable gain and offset; (4)6-bit on-board DAC: 0.375V to 1.55V output adjust range; (5)selectable 100kHz/200kHz/300kHz/550kHz switching frequency; (6)4V to 28V battery input voltage range; (7)adjustable slew-rate control; (8)drives large synchronous rectifier MOSFETs; (9)undervoltage and thermal-fault protection; (10)power sequencing and timing; (11)selectable suspend voltage; (12)soft-start and soft-shutdown; (13)selectable single- or dual-phase pulse skipping.
