The MAX919ESA is one member of the MAX919 family which is designed as the SOT23, 1.8V, nanopower, beyond-the-rails comparators with/without reference that can be used in (1)2-cell battery monitoring/management; (2)ultra-low-power systems; (3)mobile communications; (4)notebooks and PDAs; (5)threshold detectors/discriminators; (6)sensing at ground or supply line; (7)telemetry and remote systems; (8)medical instruments. This device has the unique design that limits supply-current surges while switching, virtually eliminating the supply glitches typical of many other comparators.
