MC12019 General Description


The MC12019 is a divide by 20 and 21 dual modulus prescaler.It will divide by 20 when the moduls control input is HIGH and divide by 21 when the moduls control input is low.

Features of the MC12019 are:(1)225 MHz toggle frequency; (2)low-power 7.5 mA maximum at 5.5 V; (3)control input is compatible with standard motorola CMOS synthesizers; (4)emitter follower output.

The specifications of the MC12019 can be summarized as:(1): power supply voltage, pin 7(Vcc) is 8.0 Vdc; (2): operating temperature range(Ta) is -40 to +85; (3): storage temperature range(Tstg) is -65 to +150; (4): supply current(Icc) is 7.5 mA max; (5): output swing voltage(10kohms to ground)(Vout) is 600mVpp min and 1200 mVpp max; (6): PLL response time(tPLL) is tout-70 ns max; (7): control input HIGH(+20) (VIL) is 0.8 V max.
