The MIC2182BM is one member of the MIC2182 family which designed as the synchronous buck (step-down) switching regulator controller that can be used in  (1)dc power distribution systems; (2)notebook and subnotebook computers; (3)PDAs and mobile communicators; (4)wireless modems; (5)battery-operat-ed equipment. The operating mode of this device is internally selected according to the output load conditions. Skip mode can be defeated by pulling the PWM pin low which reduces noise and RF interference.
