The MK2772-01S is a low cost, low jitter, high performance VCXO and clock synthesizer for settop boxes. The on-chip voltage controlled crystal oscillator accepts a 0 to 3V input voltage to cause the output clocks to vary by ±100ppm. Using MicroClock's patented VCXO and analog phase-locked loop (PLL) techniques, the device uses an inexpensive 13.5MHz crystal input to produce multiple output clocks.
It has eleven features. (1)Packaged in 20 pin SOIC. (2)Uses an inexpensive 13.5MHz crystal. (3)On-chip VCXO (patented) with pull range of 200ppm (minimum). (4)Ability to switch input sources "on-the-fly". (5)VCXO tuning voltage of 0 to 3V. (6)Zero ppm synthesis error (patented) in all clocks. All exactly track 27MHz VCXO. (7)All clocks are frequency locked. All will vary the same amount (in ppm) as the VCXO. (8)Selectable Audio clock for 256x, 384x, and 512x. (9)25mA output drive capability at TTL levels. (10)Advanced, low power, sub-micron CMOS process. (11)5V operating voltage. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage Vdd would be max 7V. (2)Its inputs and clock outputs would be min -0.5V and max Vdd+0.5V. (3)Its ambient operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (4)Its soldering temperature would be max 260°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating voltage would be min 4.75V and max 5.25V. (2)Its input high voltage X1 pin would b min 3.5V and typ 2.5V.
