MPL series

      The MPH/MPL are +105 metallized polypropylene capacitors which are energized by ICEL. They have high frequency and high current applications.
      IC Type MPH and MPL capacitors are designed to operate at the specified rated maximum DC Working Voltage over a temperatures range of -55 to +105. Operating at temperatures up to and including +105 are permissible without derating.
      They have three features. The first one is high ripple current ratings. The second one is that they are stable capacitance versus frequency and temperature. The third one is that of low ESR.
      There are several specifications about the MPH/MPL. Their capacitance tolerance is ±10% at 1kHz, 20. The operating temperature range is -55 to 105. The voltage range is 100 WVDC to 400 WVDC. The dissipation factor is less than 0.1% at 1kHz. The insulation resistance is 200,000M*uF, and not to exceed 400,00M. During the load life of 1000 hours at +85 with 125% rated WVDC, the capacitance change is 3% of initial reading at +25, 1kHz. The dissipation factor is 0.1% of initial reading at +25, 1kHz. The insulation resistance is 50% of minimum initial limit at 25. The self-inductance is 1nH/mm along the capacitor body and leads. The capacitance drift factor is ±1.0% (after 2 years). The maximum pulse rise time is 10 v/u sce.
