MSM80C85A-2RS

The MSM80C85A-2 is a complete 8-bit parallel central processor implemented in silicon gate C-MOS technology and compatible with MSM80C85A. It is designed with higher processing speed(max.5 Mhz) and lower power consumption compared with MSM80C85A and power down mode is provided,thereby offering a high level of system integration. It uses a multiplexed address/data bus. The address is split between the 8-bitaddress bus and the 8-bit data bus. The on-chip address latche of a MSM81C55-5 memory product allows a direct interface with the MSM80C85A-2.

It has many unique features: The first one is low power dissipation which is 50 mW typ. The second one is single 3 to 6 power supply. The third one is -40 to 85 operating temperature.The forth one is on-chip clock generator (with external crystal).The fifth one is TTL compatible.The sixth one is serial In/serial out port,etc.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about it. Power supply voltage(Vcc)(with respect to GND) is -0.5 V to 7 V.Input voltage(Vin)(with respect to GND) is -0.5 V to Vcc+0.5 V.Output voltage(Vout)(with respect to GND)is -0.5 V to Vcc+0.5 V.Storage temperature range(Tstg) is -55 to 150.Besides,there are also some recommended operating conditions.Power supply voltage(Vcc) is 4.5 V min, 5 V typ and 5.5 V max. Operating temperature(Top) is -40 min, 25 typ and 85 max.:L: input voltage(VIL) is -0.3 V min and 0.8 V max. "H"output votlage(VIH) is 2.2 V min and Vcc+0.3 V max.
