MT5460G

The MT5460G is designed as infrared LED photo thyristor. Typical applications include control 1A (RMS) of 120Vac line, motor controls, light controls, copier, temperature controls, SSR.

MT5460G has six features. (1) Trigger led current Ift is 10mA max (Rgk=15k). (2) RMS on state current It(rms) = 1A (single phase full wave, no heat sink, Ta=40°C). (3) Repetitive peak on-state voltage Vdrm = 400V. (4) High isolation voltage BVs = 2500VAC / 1min. (5) 9-lead DIP package. (6) UL recognized. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of MT5460G have been concluded into several points as follow (Ta=25°C). (1) Its forward current is 50mA. (2) Its forward current derating would be -0.55A/°C. (3) Its reverse voltage would be 5 V. (4) Its repetitive peak off-state voltage would be 400V. (5) Its repetitive peak reverse voltage would be 400V. (6) Its RMS on-state current would be 1A no heat sink. (7) Its on-state current derating (single phase full wave) is-0.04 A/°C. (8) Its peak one cycle surge on-state current is 20A. (9) Its operating temperature range is from -30°C to 80°C. (10) Its storage temperature range is from -55°C to 125°C. (11) Its isolation voltage would be 2500V.

Also some OPTO electrical characteristics about MT5460G. (1) Its forward voltage would be min 1.1V and typ 1.24V and max 1.4V. (2) Its reverse current is max 10uA. (3) Its repetitive peak off-state current would be max 100uA. (4) Its repetitive peak reverse current would be max 100uA. (5) Its peak on-state voltage would be max 1.6V.
