MT8985AP

The MT8985AP is a kind of enhanced digital switch device which is an upgraded version of the popular MT8980D Digital Switch (DX). It is pin compatible with the MT8980D and retains all of the MT8980D's functionality. The device is intended for switching PCM-encoded voice or data, under microprocessor control, in digital exchanges, PBXs and any ST-BUS/MVIP environment. The typical applications include: (1)medium size digital switch matrices; (2)hyperchannel switching (e.g., ISDN H0); (3)ST-BUS/MVIPinterface functions; (4)serial bus control and monitoring; (5)centralized voice processing systems; (6)data multiplexer.
