MT9196AP

The MT9196AP Integrated Digital Phone Circuit (IDPC) is designed for use in digital phone products.  The device incorporates a built-in Filter/Codec, digital gain pads, DTMF generator and tone ringer. Complete telephony interfaces are provided for connecting to handset and speakerphone transducers.  Internal register access is provided through a serial microport compatible with various industry standard micro-controllers.

Features of the MT9196AP  are:(1)Programmable -Law/A-Law CODEC and Filters; (2)Programmable CCITT (G.711)/sign-magnitude coding; (3)Programmable transmit, receive and side-tone gains; (4)Digital DTMF and single tone generation; (5)Fully differential interface to handset transducers; (6)Auxiliary analog interface; (7)Interface to ST-BUS/SSI (compatible with GCI); (8)Serial microport control; (9)Single 5 volt supply, low power operation; (10)Anti-howl circuit for group listening speakerphone applications.

The absolute maximum ratings of the MT9196AP  can be summarized as:(1)Supply Voltage VDD - VSS :- 0.3 ~7 V; (2)Voltage on any I/O pin VI/VO :VSS - 0.3 ~VDD + 0.3 V; (3)Current on any I/O pin (transducers excluded) II/IO ± :20 mA; (4)Storage Temperature TS :- 65 + 150 °C; (5)Power Dissipation (package) Plastic PD :750 mW.
