General Description
MV95308 General Description
The MV95308 is a CMOS 8-bit, 30MHz Digital toAnalog converter, designed for use in both video graphicsand general digital television applications.
A very low external component count has beenachieved by including the loop amplifier and referencevoltage source on chip.
The device contains a data input register and registeredvideo controls (BLANK , REFWHITE , OVERBRT and SYNC ).These control inputs and associated internal circuitry allowsthe MV95308 to be used in video graphics systems byproviding the necessary video pedestal levels. The STRDAC input allows the video pedestals to be disabled inconventional DAC applications.
This device is capable of directly driving 75 lines withstandard RS-343A or RS-170 video levels, using theappropriate R SET external resistor.
Pull up resistors have been added to tie all unusedcontrol inputs into their inactive (High) states.
