NJM2217D

The NJM2217D is designed as video super imposer with AFC which has functions of character and background superimposition to video signal and consists of synchronous seperation circuit, vertical synchronous reproducing circuit, video switch and AFC circuit. Built-in AFC circuit makes it stable to noise and disorder of synchronous signal and takes off character disorder on display broun tube.

It has six features. (1)Its operating voltage would be from +4V and max +6V. (2)2 video signal input terminals. (3)Internal synchronous separation circuit and internal horizontal synchronous reproduce circuit. Can make trigger signal to character generator. (4)Stable horizontal synchronous signal by built-in AFC circuit. (5)Package outline is DIP22. (6)Bipolar technology. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 7V. (2)Its power dissipation would be 1000mW. (3)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to +75°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating current would be typ 20mA and max 26mA. (2)Its offset voltage of luminance control would be max 0.1V. (3)Its control terminal threshold would be min 0.4V and typ 1.4V and max 2.0V. (4)Its gain would be min -1dB and max +1dB. (5)Its frequency characteristic would be min -1dB and max +1dB. (6)Its cross-talk would be typ 50dB. (7)Its horizontal sync. output high would be min 3.5V and typ 4.0V. (8)Its horizontal sync. output low would be max 0.1V. (9)Its vertical sync. output high would be min 3.5V and typ 4.0V. (10)Its horizontal sync. output low would be max 0.1V. And so on.
