NJM2225S

The NJM2225S is designed as a bipolar integrated circuits of motor drive for video camera. It has function of auto iris by video luminance signal and external information input to AGC circuit. It composed of clipping circuit of video luminance signal, amplifier for driving motor and comparator for AGC circuits.

It has four features. (1)Its operating voltage would be from +4.5V to +11V. (2)Internal auto iris circuit. (3)Package outline is SSOP16. (4)Bipolar technology. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 12V. (2)Its motor drive current would be 30mA. (3)Its power dissipation would be 350mW. (4)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to +75°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating current would be typ 5.0mA and max 8.0mA. (2)Its pin 3 chip high level would be min 2.82V and typ 2.90V and max 2.98V. (3)Its pin 3 chip low level would be min 2.27V and typ 2.35V and max 2.43V. (4)Its pin 5 threshold level would be min 0.7V and typ 1.4V and max 2.1V. (5)Its 7-9 open loop gain would be min 80dB and typ 90dB. (6)Its pin 9 output operating voltage would be min 1.4V and typ 1.5V and max 1.6V. (7)Its pin 10 DC level would be min 1.9V and typ 2.1V and max 2.3V. (8)Its AGC clip level would be min 3.80V and typ 4.00V and max 4.20V. (9)Its pin 15 saturation level would be tyo 0.2V and max 0.4V. (10)Its pin 15 OFF level would be min 8.9V and typ 9.0V. It should be noted that when used at Vi+=9V, don't connect pin3, pin4, pin10.
