General Description
NJM2378E General Description
The NJM2378E is one member of the NJM2378 family which is designed as the high speed switching regulator control IC, and directly drive an external bipolar trasistor to use internal totempole output circuit. This device operates slave mode which synchronous external oscillation frequency, and the slave mode reduce the total noise. It is suitable for flyback type switching regulation up to 10 W and several power supply for LCD panel.
Features of the NJM2378E are:(1)operating voltage: 3.6 to 32 V;(2)reference voltage: 2.5V +/- 2%;(3)input outside oscillator frequency: 5 to 350 kHz;(4)output switch current: +/-8 mA min.;(5)under voltage lockouts circuit;(6)bipolar technology;(7)package outline: DIP8, DMP8, EMP8, SSOP8.
The absolute maximum ratings of the NJM2378E can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage: 36 V;(2)reference output current: 10 mA;(3)output current: +/-50 mA;(4)CT pin voltage: 1.5 V;(5)operating temperature range: -40 to +85;(6)storage temperature range: -50 to +125.
