OX16C950

      The OX16C950 is a single-channel ultra-high performance UART ,and UART offers data rates up to 15Mbps and 128-deep transmitter and receiver FIFOs. Deep FIFOs reduce CPU overhead and allow utilisation of higher data rates.The OX16C950 is ideally suited to PC applications. It is alsosuitable for any equipment requiring high speedRS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces.The OX16C950 also has a low operating current andsleep mode for battery powered applications if it is Fabricated in 0.6m process.
      There are a lot of fetures of OX16C950.For example,it has 128-byte deep transmitter / receiver FIFO,it is Fully software compatible with industry standard 16C550 type UARTs,it has Pin compatible with TL16C550B/C, ST16C650 and TL16C750,it is IBM PC/AT compatible,its Baud rates up to 15 Mbps in normal mode and 60Mbps in external 1x clock mode,it has Readable FIFO levels and Flexible clock prescaler from 1 to 31.875,and it has  44 PLCC and 48 TQFP packages.
