P3126

The P3126 is a line matching transformer for applications where high performance and safety isolation to the most exacting international standards are required in a compact case size. In conjunction with external protection (e.g. fuses, zener diodes, etc.) the P3126 is compliant with EN 50020 for peak rated voltage <=375V. Signal performance is equivalent to ETAL P1200.

P3126 has four features. (1)14.6mm seated height. (2)Vacuum encapsulated. (3)Compliant with EN 50020 and EN 60950. (4)Typical applications include potentially explosive atmospheres, telecommunications, telemetry, line matching and instrumentation. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of P3126 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 15s would be 4.6kVrms, 6.5kVdc. (2)Its DC current would be 100uA. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (4)Its lead temperature 10 seconds would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of P3126 are concluded as follow. (1)Its insertion loss would be max 1.5dB. (2)Its frequency response would be max 50Hz at LF -3dB cutoff and would be min 10kHz at HF -3dB cutoff and would be max +/-0.2dB at200Hz to 4KHz. (3)Its return loss would be min 18dB at 200Hz to 4KHz. (4)Its distortion would be typ -72dBm and max -60dBm. (5)Its balance would be min 80dB. (6)Its saturation would be max 10Vrms and max 65Vpeak. (7)Its voltage isolation would be min 3.88kVrms and min 5.5kV. (8)Its functional operating range would be from -10°C to 70°C. (9)Its humidity would be max 95%RH. And so on.
