P8212

The P8212 is a light emitter/receiving module consisting of an LED array and a photodiode in the same small package .The width of this module is minimized so that automobile can be designed thin.Although the lens of P8212 makes the photodiode directivity,this problem was solved by separating the photodiode optical axis from the LED axis to match the light emitting and receiving areas required for VICS.

Features of the P8212 are:(1)small package;(2)lens design optimized for high emitting/receiving timings;(3)cylindrical lens with less pickup error during component mounting.Appplications of the P8212 is automobile VICS.
