PAL20RA10JC

The PAL20RA10JC is designed as a new member of national's broad PAL family. It provides several new features which will dramatically benefit PAL users. National semiconductor's advanced schottky TTL process with titanlum tungsten fusible links is used in manufacturing the RA (registered asynchronous) devices.

It has eleven features. (1)Programmable asynchronous set and reset. (2)Individually programmable clocks. (3)Programmable and hard-wired TRI-STATE outputs. (4)Programmable output polarity. (5)Registers can be bypassed individully. (6)Register preload guarantees testability. (7)Outputs can be reconfigured as inputs. (8)Power-up reset for registered outputs. (9)Fully supported by national PLAN development software. (10)A variety of JEDEC-compatible programming equipment and design development software available. (11)Security fuse prevents direct copying of logic patterns. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 7V for operating and 12V for programming. (2)Its input voltage would be 5.5V for operating and 22V for programming. (3)Its off-state output voltage would be 5.5V for operating and 12V for programming. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (5)Its ESD tolerance would be 1000V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its low level input voltage would be max 0.8V. (2)Its high level input voltage would be min 2.0V. (3)Its input clamp voltage would be typ -0.8V and max -1.5V. (4)Its low level input current would be typ -0.02mA and max -0.25mA. (5)Its high level input current would be max 25uA. (6)Its maximum input current would be max 100uA. (7)Its low level output voltage typ 0.3V and max 0.5V. (8)Its high level output voltage would be min 2.4V and typ 2.8V. And so on.
