The PC3H7A is designed as one kind of SHAPP OPTO electronic photocouplers.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input forward current would be 50mA. (2)Its peak forward current would be 1A. (3)Its power dissipation would be 70mW. (4)Its collector to emitter voltage would be 70V. (5)Its emitter to collector voltage would be 6V. (6)Its collector current would be 50mA. (7)Its collector power dissipation would be 150mW. (8)Its total power dissipation would be 170mW. (9)Its operating temperature range would be from -30°C to 100°C. (10)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (11)Its isolation voltage would be 2.5kV. (12)Its soldering temperature would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its input forward voltage would be typ 1.2V and max 1.4V. (2)Its input terminal capacitance would be typ 30pF and max 250pF. (3)Its output dark current would be max 100nA. (4)Its collector to emitter breakdown voltage would be min 70V. (5)Its emitter to collector breakdown voltage would be min 6V. (6)Its transfer collector current would be min 0.2mA and max 4.0mA. (7)Its collector to emitter saturation voltage would be typ 0.1V and max 0.2V. (8)Its isolation resistance would be min 5x10^10ohms and typ 10^11ohms. (9)Its floating capacitance would be typ 0.6pF and max 1.0pF. (10)Its rise time would be typ 4us and max 18us.
