PD7XX7 is an InGaAs pin photodiode having a light receiving diameter of 40 um, which is suitable for receiving the light having a wavelength band of 1000 to 1600 nm. This photodiode features a high quantum efficiency and a very small dark current is suitable for the light receiving element for long-distanceoptical communications. It has six unique features: The first one is high quantum efficiency. The second one is very small dark current.The third one is high speed response. The forth one is active diameter 40 um. The fifth one is wavelength range is 1000 to 1600 nm. The sixth one is high reliability, long operation life.And it can be applied to fiber-optic communication systems.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about it.Reverse voltage(VR) is 20 V. Reverse current(IR) is 500 uA. Forward current(IF) is 2 mA. Case temperature(Tc) is -30 to +80. Storage temperature(Tstg) is -40 to +100.Otherwise,there are also some electrical/optical characteristics about it. Total capacitance(Ct) is 0.6 pFtyp and 1 pF max when VR is 5V,f is 1 MHz. Dark current(ID) is 0.05 nA typ and 0.3 nA max when VR is 0.5V, is 1300 nm.Cutoff frequency(fc)is 1.5Ghz min and 3 GHz typ when VR is 5 V and is 1300 nm, RL is 50 ohms,-3dB.Rise and fall time(tr,tf) is 0.1 ns typ and 0.3 ns max when VR is 5 V and is 1300 nm, RL is 50 ohms.
