PD805A2 is an InGaAs avalanche photodiode suitable for receiving the light having a wavelength band of 1000 to 1600 nm.The PD805A2 features a high quantum efficiency and a very small dark current and is suitable for the light receiving element for long-distance optical communications. It has five unique features: The first one is high quantum efficiency. The second one is very small dark current. The third one is high speed response. The forth one is active diameter 50 um. The fifth one is low noise.It can be applied to fiber-optic communication systems.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about PD805A2. Reverse current(IR) is 500 uA. Forward current(IF) is 2 mA. Case temperature(Tc) is -30 to +80.
