The RF5A128 is a kind of one chip voice recognition LSI. It is high integrated IC that includes most of components (Mike AMP, ADC, Feature Extractor, CPU, Software Memories and Dictionary Memories) necessary for Voice Recognition system. The RF5A128 includes OTP (One Time Programmable) ROM for the Voice-Dictionary and software. It can be used for development and evaluation.
There are some features about the functions of RF5A128 as follows: (1)adaptable for both speaker independent and dependent system; (2)including MIKE Amp, AD converter, Dictionary Memories: a voice recognition system can be constructed only with the installation of some external capacitors (C) and resistors (R); (3)stand alone mode (switch port interface): 8 bit input, 8 bit output; (4)external host interface mode: 8 bit databus, 5 bit control lines; (5)8 bit general I/O ports; (6)standby mode (sleep input, wake up input); (7)80pin QFP; (8)adaptable to multiple languages: the same hardware allows adaptation to multiple languages such as Japanese, English and German; (9)vocabulary (total time length): speaker dependent: 3 words (2 seconds) and speaker independent: 10 words (7 seconds).
