The RLZ33B has the following features including Grass seald envelope. (LLDS); High reliability.The RLZ33B(Slot Optical Switch) is a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode which is coupled with a silicon photo transistor in a plastic housing. The packaging system is designed to optimizes the mechanical resolution, coupling efficiency, and insulates ambient light. The slot in the housing a provides a means of interrupting the signal with printer, scanner, copier, or other opaque material, switching the output from an ON to OFF state.The device is manufactured using Atmels high-density CMOS technology. By combin- ing the ARM7TDMI processor core with an on-chip high-speed memory and a wide range of peripheral functions on a monolithic chip, the RLZ33B is a powerful microcontroller that offers a flexible, cost-effective solution to many compute-intensive embedded control applications.
