RT9161A-18PX

The RT9161A-18PX is a kind of 500 mA fixed output voltage low dropout linear regulator. Built-in output current-limiting most thermal-limiting provide maximal protection against any fault conditions. It is available in SOT-89 package. The typical applications include voltage regulator for LAN card, CD-ROM, and DVD, wireless communication systems and battery powered systems.

There are some features as follows. (1) guaranteed 500 mA output current; (2) internal 1.5 P-MOSFET draws no base current; (3) low ground current 110A; (4) 2% accuracy output voltage; (5) input voltage range up to 12 V; (6) extremely tight load regulation; (7) fast transient response; (8) current-limiting and thermal-limiting; (9) RoHS compliant and 100% lead (Pb)-free.

(1): input voltage is from -0.3 to 14 V; (2): power dissipation, PD @ TA=25 is 0.571 W; (3): JA (package thermal resistance) is 175 /W; (4):JA (package thermal resistance) is 100 /W; (5): operating junction temperature is from -40 to 125; (6): storage temperature range is from -65 to 150.
