RT9166A-35PXL

The RT9166A-35PXL is a kind of CMOS low dropout regulator suitable for ultra-fast transient response. It is available in SOT-89 package. The typical applications include CD/DVD-ROM, CD/RW, wireless LAN card/keyboard/mouse, battery-powered equipment, XDSL router and PCMCIA card.

There are some features as follows. (1) low quiescent current (typically 220A); (2) guaranteed 300/600 mA output current; (3) low dropout voltage: 230/580 mV at 300/600 mA; (4) wide operating voltage ranges: 3 V to 5.5 V; (5) ultra-fast transient response; (6) tight load and line regulation; (7) current limiting protection; (8) thermal shutdown protection; (9) only low-ESR ceramic capacitor required for stability; (10) custom voltage available; (11) RoHS compliant and 100% lead (Pb)-free.

(1): input voltage is 6.5 V; (2): power dissipation, PD @ TA=25 is 0.571 W; (3): JA (package thermal resistance) is 175 /W; (4): JC (package thermal resistance) is 58 /W; (5): lead temperature (soldering, 10 sec.) is 260; (6): storage temperature range is from -65 to 150.; (7): junction temperature is 150; (8): ESD susceptibility is 2 kV for HBM (human body mode) and 200 V for MM (machine mode).
