RT9167A

The RT9167/A is a 200mA/500mA low dropout andlow noise micropower regulator suitable for portableapplications. The output voltages range from 1.5V to5.0V in 100mV increments and 2% accuracy. TheRT9167/A is designed for use with very low ESRcapacitors. The output remains stable even with 1Fceramic output capacitor.

The RT9167/A uses and internal PMOS as the passdevice, which does not cause extra GND current inheavy load and dropout conditions. The shutdownmode of nearly zero operation current makes the ICsuitable for battery-power devices. Other featuresinclude a reference bypass pin to improve low noiseperformance, current limiting, and over temperatureprotection.
