S-29L220A

The S-29L220A is designed as low power 2K-bit serial E2PROM with a low operating voltage range. It is organized as 128word x 16-bit respectively. It is capable of sequential read, where addresses are automaticaly incremented in 16-bit blocks. The instruction code of S-29L220A is compatible with the NM93CSXX series.

S-29L220A has six features. (1)Low power consumption which would be max 0.8uA for standby and 0.8mA max at Vcc=5.5V for operating and 0.4mA max at Vcc=2.7V for operating. (2)Low operating voltage range which would be from 1.8V to 5.5V for write and read. (3)Sequential read capable. (4)Endurance 10^5 cycles/word. (5)Data retention 10 years. (6)2K bits NM93CS56 instruction code compatible. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of S-29L220A have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc. (4)Its storage temperature under bias would be from -50°C to 95°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of S-29L220A at Vcc=4.5V to 5.5V are concluded as follow. (1)Its current consumption read would be max 0.8mA. (2)Its current consumption program would be max 2.0mA. (3)Its standby current consumption would be max 0.8uA. (4)Its input leakage current would be typ 0.1uA and max 1.0uA. (5)Its output leakage current would be typ 0.1uA and max 1.0uA. (6)Its low level output voltage would be max 0.45V at Iol=2.1mA and would be max 0.1V at Iol=100uA. (7)Its high level output voltage would be min 2.4V at Ioh=-400uA and would be min Vcc-0.7V at Ioh=-100uA. And so on.
