• Overdischarge detection voltage n (n=1 to 4) 2.0 V to 3.0 V (100 mV step) Accuracy ±80 mV
• Hysteresis voltage n (n=1 to 4) of overdischarge detection 0.20 V to 0.70 V or 0 V (100 mV step) Accuracy ±100 mV (Overdischarge release voltage n (=Overdischarge detection voltage n + Hysteresis voltage n) can be selected within the range 2.0 V to 3.4 V.)

Description

The S-8243A/B is a series of lithium-ion rechargeable battery protection ICs incorporating high-accuracy battery protection circuits, a battery monitor amp and a voltage regulator which drives microcomputer and gas gauge IC. Combining microcomputer or gas gauge IC facilitates displaying a remaining amount of battery.

The S-8243A/B is suitable for protection of 3-serial or 4-serial cell lithium-ion battery packs from overcharge, overdischarge and overcurrent.
