S-8430AF

The S-8430AF is a chopper-type dc/dc converter made using the cmos process.It automatically steps the voltage up and down according to the input voltage.When the input voltage is higher than the output voltage,the s-8430AF operates as a series regulator.When the input voltage is lower than the output voltage,it operates as a combination of a step-up switching requlator and a series regulator.The output voltage for normal operation can be selected from either 5V or 3V and the output level during shutdown can be selected from either the Vss level or the input voltage level.
