S-8437

The S-8437 series is a CMOS inverting swiching regulator that consists of a reference voltage source, a CR oscillation circuit,a power MOS FET and an error ampllifier.For the S-8437AF,the output voltage is fixed internally and it easily forms an inverting switching regulator with shutdown function;using an external coll, a diode and a capacitor.

Features of the S-8437 are:(1)low current consumption:operation:13A typ.,shutdown:0.1A  max.; (2)high-precision output voltage:-5V+-3.5%; (3)any voltage can be set by mounting two external resistors; (4)built-in power MOS FET; (5)5-pin SOT-89-5 small package.
