The S-8520B18MC is a product of the S-8520 subseries. The S-8520B18MC consists of CMOS step-down switching regulator-controllers with PWM-control(S-8520) and PWM/PFM-switched control(S-8521).These devices contain a reference voltage source,oscillation circuit, error amplifier,and other components.

Features of the S-8520B18MC are:(1)low current consumption:60A max; (2)input voltage:2.5~16V; (3)output voltage:selectable between1.5V and 6.0V in 0.1 V step; (4)duty ratio:0%~100% PWM control; (5)the only periphetal components that can be used with this IC are a Pch power MOS FET or PNP transistor,a coil ,adiode,and capacitors.; (6)oscillation frequency:180 kHZ typ; (7)soft-start fuction:8 ms.; (8)with a power-off function; (9)with a buit-in overload protection.
