S20SC4M

The S20SC4M is designed as one kind of schottky rectifiers (SBD) with voltage of 40V and current of 20A. Its typical applications include switching power supply, DC/DC converter, home appliances, office equipment and telecommunication.

S20SC4M has four features. (1)Tj=150°C. (2)Prrsm avalanche guaranteed. (3)It has small jc. (4)It has high current capacity. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of S20SC4M have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 150°C. (2)Its operating junction temperature would be 150°C. (3)Its maximum reverse voltage would be 40V. (4)Its repetitive peak surge reverse voltage would be 45V with conditions of pulse width 0.5ms and duty 1/40. (5)Its average rectified forward current would be 20A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave and R-load and rating for each diode Io/2 and Tc=125°C. (6)Its peak surge forward current would be 170A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave and non-repetitive 1 cycle peak value and Tj=125°C. (7)Its repetitive peak surge reverse power would be 660W with conditions of pulse width 10us and rating of per diode Tj=25°C. (8)Its mounting torque would be 0.8Nm and recommended torque 0.5Nm. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of S20SC4M are concluded as follow. (1)Its forward voltage would be max 0.59V with conditions of If=10A and pulse measurement and rating of per diode. (2)Its reverse current would be max 5mA with conditions of Vr=Vrm and pulse measurement and rating of per diode.
