S30460 has five features. (1)Glass passivated die. (2)800A surge rating. (3)Glass to metal construction. (4)Vrrm would be to 1200V. (5)Excellent reliability. Those are all the main features.

Some important electrical characteristics of S30460 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its average forward current would be 40 amps with conditions of Tc=152°C, half sine wave and Rjc=1.25°C/W. (2)Its maximum surge current would be 800 amps with conditions of 8.3ms half sine and Tj=200°C. (3)Its max I2t for fusing would be 2600A2s. (4)Its max peak forward voltage would be 1.19 volts with conditions of Ifm=90A and Tj=25°C.
