The SBC328 is designed as one kind of PNP silicon transistors for high current applications and switching applications.

SBC328 has two features. (1)Suitable for AF-Driver stage and low power output stages. (2)Complementary pair with SBC338. Those are all the main features.

Some SBC328 absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its collector to base voltage would be -30V. (2)Its collector to emitter voltage would be -25V. (3)Its emitter to base voltage would be -5V. (4)Its collector current would be -800mA. (5)Its collector dissipation would be 625mW. (6)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some SBC328 electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its collector to emitter breakdown voltage would have the minimum value of -25V with conditions of Ic=-1mA and Ib=0. (2)Its base to emitter turn on voltage would have the maximum value of -1.2V with conditions of Vce=-1V and Ic=-300mA. (3)Its collector to emitter saturation voltage would have the maximum value of -700mV with conditions of Ic=-500mA and Ib=-50mA. (4)Its collector cut-off current would be max -100nA with conditions of Vcb=1V and Ic=-100mA. (5)Its DC current gain would be min 100 and max 630 with conditions of Vce=-1V and Ic=-100mA.
