The SBU4J is designed as 4A silicon bridge rectifiers.

SBU4J  has six features. (1) Void free vacuum die soldering for maximum mechanical strength and heat dissipation. (solder voids: typical < 2%, max < 10% of die area). (2) Built-in stress relief mechanism for superior reliability and performance. (3) Surge overload rating to 200 amps peak. (4) Ideal for printed circuit board applications. (5) UL recognized file #E124962. (6) RoHS compliant. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of SBU4J have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum DC blocking voltage would be 600V. (2) Its maximum RMS voltage would be 420V. (3) Its maximum peak recurrent reverse voltage would be 600V. (4) Its average forward rectified current would be 4A. (5) Its peak forward surge current single 60Hz half-time wve superimposed on rated load (JEDEC method), Tj=150°C would be 200A. (6) Its maximum forward voltage (per diode) at 4A DC would be 0.95V (typical < 0.90). (7) Its maximum average DC reverse current at rated DC blocking voltage would be 1uA at 25°C and would be 50uA at 100°C. (8) Its typical thermal resistance would be 19.0°C/W for junction to ambient and would be 2.4°C/W for junction to lead. (9) Its minimum insulation breakdown voltage (circuit to case) would be 2500V. (10) Its operating and storage temperature range would be from -55°C to +150°C.
