SC1015

The SC1015 is designed as a set of three-terminal low power voltage regulators implemented in CMOS technology. They are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from l.5V to 7.0V. CMOS technology ensures low voltage drop and low quiescent current. Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain variable voltages and currents. The SC1015 is housed in TO-92 package. Typical applications is battery-powered equipment, communication equipment and audio/video equipment.

It has five features. (1)Its low power consumption. (2)Low voltage drop. (3)Low temperature coefficient. (4)Wide operating voltage 12V max. (5)TO-92 package. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from 0.3V to 15V. (2)Its power consumption would be 250m/W. (3)Its operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -50°C to 125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device. Functional operation of this device at other conditions beyond those listed in the specification is not implied and prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may affect device reliability.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its output voltage tolerance would be min 1.425V and typ 1.5V and max 1.575V. (2)Its output current would be min 7.0mA. (3)Its load regulation would be typ 80mV. (4)Its voltage drop would be typ 300mV. (5)Its current consumption would be typ 2.2uA and max 5.0uA. (6)Its line regulation would be typ 0.2%/V. (7)Its input voltage would be max 12V. (8)Its temperature coefficient would be typ +/-0.25mV/°C. (9)Its pin assignment would be B type. And so on.
