The SC1112 is designed as one kind of triple low dropout regulator controllers for the latest high speed motherboards. It includes three low dropout regulator controllers. The controllers provide the power for the system AGTL bus termination voltage, chipset and clock circuitry.
SC1112 has six features. (1)Tripple linear controllers. (2)Selectable and adjustable output voltages. (3)LDOs track input voltage within 200mV (function of the mosfets used) until regulation. (4)Integrated charge pump. (5)Programmable power good delay signal. (6)Latched over current protection (VTT). Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of SC1112 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its 5VSTBY to GND would be from -0.3V to 7V. (2)Its VTTSEN to GND would be form -0.3V to 5V. (3)Its AGPSEN to GND would be from -0.3V to 5V. (4)Its ADJSEN to GND would be from -0.3V to 5V. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (7)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be 300°C. (8)Its thermal resistance junction to ambient would be 130°C/W.
