SC1403ITSTR

The SC1403ITSTR is designed as a multiple-output power supply controller for power battery operated systems. It provides synchronous rectified buck converter control for two (3.3V and 5V) power supplies. An efficiency of 95% can be achieved for the two suplies.

It has twelve features. (1)3.3V and 5V dual synchronous outputs, resistor programmable to 2.5V. (2)Fixed frequency or PSAVE for maximum efficiency over wide load current range. (3)5V/50mA linear regulator. (4)Virtual current sense for enhanced stability. (5)Accurate low loss current limiting. (6)Out of phase switching reduces input capacitance requirements. (7)External compensation supports wide range of output filter components. (8)Programmable power-up sequence. (9)Power good output. (10)Output overvoltage & overcurrent protection with output undervoltage shutdown. (11)4uA typical shutdown current. (12)6mW typical quiescent power. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage V+ to GND would be from -0.3V to 30V. (2)Its boost voltages, BST3, BST5, to GND would be from -0.3V to 36V. (3)Its PGND to GND would be +/-0.3V. (4)Its BST3 to PHASE3, BST5 to PHASE5, CSL5, CSH5 to GND, CSL3 CSH3 to GND would be from -0.3V to 6V DC and -2.0V to 7V for transient, 100ns. (5)Its ON3, SHDN# to GND would be from -0.3V to V+ +0.3V. (6)Its VL, REF short to GND would be continuous. (7)Its REF current would be +5mA. (8)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be +300°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 200°C. (10)Its junction temperature range would be +150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its input voltage range would be min 6.0V and max 30V. (2)Its 3.3V output voltage in adjustable mode would be min 2.45V and typ 2.5V and max 2.55V. (3)Its 3.3V output voltage in fixed mode would be min 3.23V and typ 3.3V and max 3.37V. And so on.
