The SC1454 is designed as dual 150mA ultra low dropout, low noise regulator which contains two ultra low dropout voltage regulators (ULDOs). It operates from an input voltage range of 2.25V to 6.5V and a wide variety of output voltage options are available. One ULDO has a fixed output, and the other is either fixed (SETA pin grounded) or adjustable using external resistors. Each ULDO has an independent enable pin.
SC1454 has eleven features. (1)Up to 150mA per regulator output. (2)Low quiescent current. (3)Low dropout voltage. (4)Stable operation with ceramic caps. (5)Very low 50uVrms output noise. Some absolute maximum ratings of SC1454 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input supply voltage would be from -5V to 7V. (2)Its enable input voltage would be from -5V to Vin. (3)Its operating ambient temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (4)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -60°C to 150°C. (6)Its thermal impedance junction to ambient would be 206°C/W for minimum pad size and would be 95°C/W for 1 square inch of FR-4, double sided 1oz, minimum copper weight. (7)Its thermal impedance junction to case would be 39°C/W. (8)Its ESD rating (human body model) would be 2kV. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
